Summit Faculty
Mr. Cheney is teaching Upper School mathematics at Summit, along with a course in Personal Finance and Mandarin Chinese. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Washington, Seattle campus, and a Master’s in Education from Pacific Lutheran University. Mr. Cheney has taught in public and private schools for a number of years, working with students at many age levels.
Mr. Cheney enjoys reading about how the current American financial system works and explaining it to his friends. He also likes to learn world languages such as Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, and Norwegian. Mr. Cheney exercises occasionally by playing basketball, doing jump rope, and going jogging. He is looking forward to being a disciple-maker and teacher at Summit Classical Christian School.
