Mr. Bowles is a Middle School Bible teacher. He graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Religion and from Western Seminary with an M.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies, with an emphasis on Biblical languages. He is also a graduate fellow and Th.M. candidate at Western Seminary. Mr. Bowles serves as the regional director at ABSOLUTE Ministries where he works with individuals in the areas of addiction recovery, trauma recovery, sexuality and mental health issues. Additionally, he serves as a lay elder at Stone Church in Auburn.
He and his wife both grew up in Southern California and currently live in Lake Tapps with their three children. Before relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2020, Mr. Bowles served as a pastor in Los Angeles for nearly eight years in various capacities, including pastoring youth and young adults in the inner city.
He is a devoted Chelsea F.C. fan, and an avid re-reader of his textual mentors—Augustine; Gregory of Nazianzus; John Calvin; John Owen; Jonathan Edwards; Herman Bavinck; Geerhardus Vos; C. S. Lewis; J. R. R. Tolkien; Francis Schaeffer; Henri Nouwen; Charles Taylor; Tim Keller; Carl Trueman; and Stephen Wellum.
